Related enlargement of breasts with improved self-esteem and sexuality

The women who underwent surgery to increase the size of your breasts often feel more self-esteem and a more positive assessment of their sex lives, according to a study released by the University of Florida (UF).
The study indicates that, although breast surgery “is not a panacea for improving low self esteem,” produce psychological benefits.

Cosmetic surgery can change many physical aspects of a person, sometimes you want to increase somewhere in the body, others want to do more small and slender, in other cases change the shape, look more attractive. Some surgical procedures are performed for cosmetic reasons, others however are made for reasons of trauma, burns, accidents, animal bites or birth defects, in this case the surgeon performed reconstructive surgery.
Reconstructive surgery is performed in order to repair body parts that were lost or damaged, as with the chest, when you have to remove the breast cancer process, if already, the situation is very painful for a woman and the priority is to heal, for some women, mastectomy is unavoidable.

Sometimes they are inventions of the media, but other times they are a product of the mind of some plastic surgeon or cosmetic surgery.
One of these recent “news” is the use of botox to reaffirm the chest. The information I read in the tabloid Daily Mail, a newspaper that I quote often in the Journal of Cosmetic Surgery, not for its rigor, but because of the colorful stories published. Desgracidamente this information is being reproduced on many websites and blogs as the Internet presents a real alternative to cosmetic surgery.
What is truth in this? Botox Can reaffirm a breast?
No, it can, but first it is necessary to clarify that the trade name Botox for cosmetic use in Spain is Vistabel, is only allowed for the filling of wrinkles in some areas of the face. Apart from permitted uses, the botox, you can not assert a breast.
Botox can paralyze the pectoral muscle but has no effect on the breast support. According to their “creators” of the pectoral muscle paralysis requires the back muscles to contract and thus elevate the breast. The alleged action on the subject of the pectoralis chest is one of the false belief that everyone takes for certain. The female breast, breasts, or as they say in Argentina lolas are actually a modified skin gland whose only subject to give Cooper’s ligaments (thin structures that are fixed to the skin). So as much as you can get is some tension in the breast skin and remove wrinkles, which may give some sense of reassurance. Read the rest of this entry »

Although it is a paradox in the XXI century, are increasingly made more surgeries to reconstruct the hymen. This intervention is sued by women who for cultural or religious reasons should be virgins at marriage. Also women who want to make “a gift” to their partners or prostitutes who want to sell their alleged virginity.
The hymen is a thin membrane of elastic and fibrous tissue that partially covers the vaginal opening. This membrane can be broken with the first penetration and bleeding occur.
The hymen reconstruction surgery, is very simple and is done on an outpatient basis. This surgery using sutures reassembled the fragments of the hymen that are still in the vagina.
Surgical repair of the hymen is not unique to our days in the Celestina of Francisco de Rojas (1500) we read: “This of the virgins, made them a bladder and other cured by a point. He had a Tabladillo (.. .) hides a thin needle and thread waxed silk, and hung there roots and stem Sanguine plasma sheet, and Squill Cepacaballo, did wonders with it: when the French ambassador came three times sold for a servant to virgin had. ” The bawd Celestina was credited with having “made and unmade” more than 5,000 hymens, irrefutable proof of honor and chastity ”
Currently, it is a statement made by some gynecologists and plastic surgeons. Besides the reconstruction of the hymen, also had cosmetic surgery vaginal rejuvenation. Read the rest of this entry »

Vaginal cosmetic surgery is increasingly claim is women. In countries like the UK operations of the female genitalia are increasing alarmingly, in other countries like Spain is much lower demand.
The cosmetic surgery is the most common vaginal labia-plasty, an operation that is to reduce the tissue of the labia. Another intervention increasingly realized, particularly in some communities is hymenoplasty, a procedure to recover by restoring the hymen virginity. Other procedures of questionable effectiveness and increased risk include interventions to reduce the volume of the vagina and shake.
A recently published study by University College London, who warns of the lack of information about the risks of vaginal cosmetic surgery. The research also raises concerns over the ethical foundations of the genitals to bring aesthetic criteria. Following the publication of this study, some plastic surgeons believe their conclusions are overstated.
According to Lih-Mei Liao, author of the report and researcher at University College London, part of the demand is due to advertising that proposes a homogenized and pre-pubertal genital appearance to all women that can lead to insecurity in many women
Surgeries shortening labia are offered as a solution to various problems arising from their excessive size, including: discomfort when wearing tight clothing or cycling, shame to have sex, or in extreme cases makes difficult to maintain relationships sex .. Read the rest of this entry »

Sometimes cosmetic surgery is used to attempt to evade justice, the case that we have today is not the first.
Osaka police arrested one of the most wanted criminals in Japan: Tatsuya Ichihashi, 30, accused of the death in 2007 of Britain’s Lindsay Hawker, an English professor of 22 years.
Lindsay Hawker had been stalked by Tatsuya died of strangulation after a brutal beating at the apartment of the accused. When police went to her statement, it Ichihashi fled leaving behind the naked corpse in the bathtub.
The Fugitive “disappeared” until the health of a plastic surgery clinic, puzzled by the suspicious attitude of Ichihashi, contacted police and provided photographs of how they reshaped the face of the boy, who had already gone through the operating room. He had made several plastic surgery to change his face: epicantoplastia to change the shape of the eyes, rhinoplasty, lip, and cheeks. In October 2008 he offered a reward of 10 million yen (75,000 euros). Police received up to 8,000 calls from citizens who claimed to have seen. And one of them, made by a passenger on a ferry bound for Okinawa, which Ichihashi also expected, led to his arrest. Read the rest of this entry »

There is much confusion and bad-enough information regarding the duration of breast implants. In this article we will try to clarify.
It is first important to distinguish between existing cohesive gel implants or saline implants and the old silicone oil. The latter should be changed to 10 years. Today almost all plastic surgeons use cohesive gel implants, but until recent years some still used implants and silicone oil. The prosthesis of silicone oil should be changed because if they break, the silicone oil spills its contents within the capsule (cavity around the implant) or outside it. Extra-capsular rupture is a serious event that must be corrected in the operating room as quickly as liquid silicone tends to spread.
Current cohesive gel prosthesis can last a lifetime, can last 15 or 20 years or may last a single year (though unlikely, we know some cases). There are several reasons why an implant can be changed according to the manufacturer Mentor: “Your implants may break due to the following causes: damage caused by surgical instruments, to force the implant during implantation and weakening occur, to form folds or wrinkles in the implant shell; excessive force in the chest (for example, during closed capsulotomy, which is contraindicated), trauma, compression during mammography images and intense capsular contracture. Breast implants may also simply wear out over of time. ” Source: Important Information for patients about breast augmentation breast implants, silicone MemoryGel.. Read the rest of this entry »
