Techniques that use own tissue to reconstruct the breast

These techniques use tissue to create a breast own natural and consist of the mobilization or transplantation of tissue from other areas of the body such as the abdomen, back or buttocks (called autologous techniques or flaps).
In some cases these tissues or flaps remain attached to its original site, retaining its blood supply, and transferred to the breast through a tunnel that runs under the skin. According to the technique can be accurate or not employ, in addition, an implant.
In other cases the tissues used to create the breast are completely separate from its original site, usually the abdomen, buttocks or thigh, and are transplanted to the chest by connecting to the blood vessels in the area. Effects of Breast Augmentation

The women who underwent surgery to increase the size of your breasts often feel more self-esteem and a more positive assessment of their sex lives, according to a study released by the University of Florida (UF).
The study indicates that, although breast surgery “is not a panacea for improving low self esteem,” produce psychological benefits.
“Many people have a negative image of those who undergo cosmetic surgery without having a clear understanding of the benefits it can bring,” says Cynthia Figueroa-Haas, an assistant professor at the University of Nursing and one of UF responsible for this study.

Britain’s Daily Mail, inexhaustible source of news for the Journal of Cosmetic Surgery, tells the story of a woman who placed a mesh in their breasts to enhance them.
According to Daily Mail plastic surgeons inserted a cone-shaped polyester mesh beneath the skin of the breast and attach it to the fascia, under the fat layer. The procedure is performed under general anesthesia.
The plastic surgeon says Humzah Dalvi Breform (the name of this invention) is “like a strapless bra cup. He explains “Once installed, the body produces a fibrous tissue that holds the mesh in place as a permanent support.”
I read that in tests conducted in the Netherlands, 60 percent of women who performed the procedure did not have the need for a bra. I also read that in the world have already been conducted 600 operations like this. The surgery lasted about 4 hours and it takes two days of hospitalization. Like other surgeries of the breast, can not sleep face down the first few weeks. (more…)
