After Surgery

After SurgeryAfter surgery take an elastic bandage. A small tube is placed in each breast to drain blood and fluids for a day or two. Subsequently the tubes were removed and the dressing will be changed to a sports bra.

You may feel discomfort during the first days, especially when moving or coughing, and some discomfort for a week or two. We will give you medication to reduce discomfort.

Woman And Breast Surgery

Breast SurgeryBritain’s Daily Mail, inexhaustible source of news for the Journal of Cosmetic Surgery, tells the story of a woman who placed a mesh in their breasts to enhance them.

According to Daily Mail plastic surgeons inserted a cone-shaped polyester mesh beneath the skin of the breast and attach it to the fascia, under the fat layer. The procedure is performed under general anesthesia.

The plastic surgeon says Humzah Dalvi Breform (the name of this invention) is “like a strapless bra cup. He explains “Once installed, the body produces a fibrous tissue that holds the mesh in place as a permanent support.”

I read that in tests conducted in the Netherlands, 60 percent of women who performed the procedure did not have the need for a bra. I also read that in the world have already been conducted 600 operations like this. The surgery lasted about 4 hours and it takes two days of hospitalization. Like other surgeries of the breast, can not sleep face down the first few weeks. (more…)
