Botox To Reaffirm The ChestSometimes they are inventions of the media, but other times they are a product of the mind of some plastic surgeon or cosmetic surgery.
One of these recent “news” is the use of botox to reaffirm the chest. The information I read in the tabloid Daily Mail, a newspaper that I quote often in the Journal of Cosmetic Surgery, not for its rigor, but because of the colorful stories published. Desgracidamente this information is being reproduced on many websites and blogs as the Internet presents a real alternative to cosmetic surgery.
What is truth in this? Botox Can reaffirm a breast?
No, it can, but first it is necessary to clarify that the trade name Botox for cosmetic use in Spain is Vistabel, is only allowed for the filling of wrinkles in some areas of the face. Apart from permitted uses, the botox, you can not assert a breast.

Botox can paralyze the pectoral muscle but has no effect on the breast support. According to their “creators” of the pectoral muscle paralysis requires the back muscles to contract and thus elevate the breast. The alleged action on the subject of the pectoralis chest is one of the false belief that everyone takes for certain. The female breast, breasts, or as they say in Argentina lolas are actually a modified skin gland whose only subject to give Cooper’s ligaments (thin structures that are fixed to the skin). So as much as you can get is some tension in the breast skin and remove wrinkles, which may give some sense of reassurance. (more…)
